During the month of April 2024, Mahe Shipping welcomed two more exquisite cruise ships in Port Victoria, Seychelles with a courtesy call and exchange of gifts conducted on board the ships.
The courtesy call on board Seven Seas Mariner was conducted on Monday 15th April 2024 in the presence of representatives from Mahe Shipping, the Seychelles Ports Authority and Captain Aivo Palm, Master of Seven Seas Mariner. The ship is measured at 216.1m in length and has the capacity to carry 700 passengers and 445 crew members. M/V Crystal Serenity on the other hand berthed at Port Victoria on 19th April 2024 and the courtesy call was held the next day in the presence of Mahe Shipping representatives, Seychelles Ports Authority, Tourism Department and the ship's management. Crystal Serenity is measured at 250m in length and has the capacity to carry 740 passengers and 655 crew. During both ceremonies, a book published by Mahe Shipping for the occasion of its 50th Anniversary, "Seychelles, Ships and the Sea" was presented to both Masters, whilst they presented a plaque to commemorate the ship's call in Port Victoria.
