Sustainability is rapidly becoming a leading concern for private and public sectors, with Mahe Shipping Company Ltd having no exception. It is thus, essential for businesses to embrace more sustainable green practices.

Subsequent to the installation of a 20kw PV System at the company’s head office in April 2022, Mahe Shipping Company Ltd has this year purchased an electric scooter. This investment aims at intensifying the company’s goal at driving a sustainable change, by lowering CO2 emissions caused by vehicles on the road and reducing collective carbon footprint.

Mahe Shipping continues to play its role in alleviating its harmful environmental impacts, whilst generating further business benefits; a win-win situation. 

Mr. Ryan Rose, Cargo Officer at Mahe Shipping Company Ltd. is awarded the first Employee of the Month for the month of January 2023.

Mr. Rose has been employed at the company since November 2019 and he was nominated for his ability to demonstrate good work ethics, dedication towards completing his tasks in a timely manner and providing extra help to his colleagues. Mr. Rose was additionally complimented by a client, whereby he was part of a team from Mahe Shipping who delivered excellent service to the said client.

The company congratulated and rewarded Mr. Rose for this achievement with a certificate of recognition and a small token, which was presented by the CEO and Deputy CEO of the company on Friday 10th February 2023.
