Once both vehicles were securely placed in the containers and their batteries disconnected, the process of car lashing followed whereby multiple equipment, inclusive of lashing belts were used to intensify the security with the aim of preventing both vehicles from moving and causing damage, which was further emphasized with the use of chocks made from wood, bolted to the floor.

A final verification was then done by representatives from Customs to affirm that both containers met all the compulsory security-related guidelines. Are you exporting your vehicle?
